My Resume
About Me
I graduated in May '08 from the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) four years after graduating from John F. Kennedy High School. As a graphic artist and photographer, I try to practice new techniques and skills I have acquired as often as possible. I am most interested in print design that incorporates images and unique typography.

Visual Communications
When I got to college, it was very difficult for me to decide what major to choose since graphic design is only offered as a Studio Art concentration. Since I found drawing and painting to be very challenging, I decided to "make my own major" with the Individual Studies Program (IVSP). This program requires a lot of research and time dedication since there are many steps to follow in order to graduate with your own, unique major. I had to get my proposal and selected courses approved by the faculty review board before it became official. Now, I feel the hard work in planning my proposal has been worth it since I am taking courses which I am truly interested in.

Workstation
I am currently using a 24-inch iMac for the majority if my work. I have become very accustomed to the Mac OSX interface and have found it an ideal system to use for visual projects and experimentation. I also have a MacBook Pro laptop equipped with software.
